Warm Up:
Practice asking and responding to your partner using the question grid. You do not need to take notes – practice verbally only. Try not to have any silent moments – keep the Spanish going. If you notice a question is not correctly stated or your partner is not responding correctly – model the correct answer and help each other. Conversations that are not on task will result in a zero for class participation.
Classwork:
Powerpoint / Flashcards/ Studyguide races
La Tarea: Study and try the extra credit. Use the study guide – create notes and practice each bullet for grammar and vocabulary. Time yourself a couple times for 5-10 minutes and do a free write in Spanish trying to hit all the grammar and communication targets for the writing assessment.

Create a deck of flashcards using Quizlet.com . Send me a link to your flashcards and take the test showing you scored at least 80% or better for 10 extra points on your quiz. You must complete all Repaso II vocabulary on pages 12-13 and you must show evidence of your test score being higher than 80%. I need to see that you actually took your test. You can take a screen shot, copy and paste, or print your results.


To earn the 10 points you must
  • Create a full deck of cards for Repaso II (All words and pictures from pages 12-13) - 7 points
  • Show you scored 80% or higher on the Quizlet Test - 3 points (This must be printed or emailed before you sit to take the test)

La Frase del Día:¿Vas a celebrar “La Víspera de Todos Santos”(Halloween)? ¿Qué vas a llevar (to wear)? (You do not have to do this translation.)
Las Metas: Assessment: Students will be evaluated on their ability to discuss classes subjects, class objects, places within the school, schedules, obligations, time, feelings, location, and frequency. Culture: Students will acquire new vocabulary and understanding for the Day of the Dead Celebration. They will use the vocabulary in Spanish to depict common traditions and describe the holiday in the target language.
La Agenda de Clase:

1. Clear your desks for the exam.
2. After the exam begin the Day of the Dead Packet.


La Tarea: Blog 2 (English and Spanish) is due on Monday. Day of the Dead Packet is due next Thursday. There is no school on Tuesday. The ofrenda picture must be in color.
